Come join us for an afternoon of fun, banter, empowerment, and honest conversations on womanhood, workplace nightmares, women’s leadership, cognitive biases-and much more.
On May 24, join us at Atta Galatta for the launch of Hired. Fired. Tired. by debut author Tushara Reddy- a candid and thought-provoking book exploring the realities of the modern tech workplace. Framed through the perspective of a first-generation millennial professional, the book unpacks the often-unspoken politics of the industry-where ambition, identity, and survival frequently collide.
Told from a woman’s point of view, Hired. Fired. Tired. speaks to those navigating toxic work cultures, imposter syndrome, layoffs, and the quiet pressures of being a newcomer. At once deeply personal and broadly relatable, the book gives voice to the silent struggles of everyday work life while imagining bold possibilities for a more humane and equitable tech future. Tushara also invites readers to be part of her personal journey of writing toward a more utopian tech world-one where empathy, fairness, and opportunity shape the future of work.
As a bonus, the evening will also feature a panel discussion with global tech leaders, exploring real stories, challenges, and ideas for building healthier workplaces in the tech industry.
Tushara Reddy is a mid-senior product manager with over nine years of experience across India, the UK, and the USA. An alumna of Queen Mary University of London, she currently lives in Bengaluru, where she balances work, workouts, and writing in her spare time.
