Gallu Village

Gallu village is situated 2-3 kms above the hippie village of Dharamkot. It acts as the base camp of the famous Triund hike. But it's not limited to just that identification. It's a place where nature bows down in gratitude, and the winds dance to newer tunes. There's a small temple called the Gallu Devi Temple that the locals visit, and you can too for much needed blessings. There are a couple of chai shops where you can sip on milk tea and admire the valley below. A short walk down those shops is the Gallu waterfall that when not crowded is a picturesque site. Please ensure you have good grip shoes on when you're here! There are a few guest houses here but it is also home to a wonderful property called Eagle's Nest that is quite luxurious in the middle of nowhere.
