Funny Dexter Workshops presents a 2-day intensive designed to deepen emotional awareness and expressive freedom through structured, playful, and experiential techniques.
Day 1: NAVRASA
A 6-hour immersive workshop introducing the nine primary emotions using a classical, scientific approach rooted in the Natyashastra
- Participants will:
- Understand the biological and universal basis of emotions
- Learn to identify emotions in their pure, unconditioned form
- Develop tools to consciously access and manifest emotions at will
- Build emotional clarity for performance, communication, and self-expression
This session lays the foundation for emotional intelligence in performance and everyday interaction.
Day 2: TEXT IN PLAY
A high-energy, playful workshop that transforms text from the page into embodied performance.
Participants will explore:
- Physical movement and spatial storytelling
- Orthodox punctuation as performance cues
- Mathematical and graphical approaches to scene structure
- Gibberish, rhythm, music, and sound play
- Hindi & English monologues provided for exploration and performance
Designed to help participants break rigid interpretations and discover dynamic, personal choices in text.
