Modern relationships don’t break down from lack of love, they get strained by invisible work. This Valentine’s Day, learn how to see it, share it, and build a partnership that feels fair.
Using the globally acclaimed Fair Play system, couples will learn the language and tools to divide the mental load without resentment or score-keeping. Less romance clichés, more real teamwork. Expect good humour, guided prompts, private couple conversations, and a practical system you can actually use at home.
Who this is for
- Couples who want a fairer division of household and emotional labour
- Couples who love each other but struggle to talk about chores, planning, or invisible work
- Expecting or new parents navigating shifting roles
- Long-term couples wanting more clarity, less scorekeeping
- Couples curious about the Fair Play method
Who this is not for
- Couples seeking therapy or conflict intervention
- Individuals attending without their partner
- People expecting a lecture; this is participatory
What to bring
- Your partner (mandatory)
- Humility, curiosity, a sense of humour
- Willingness to be honest
- Openness to trying a new system
Everything else is provided.
You’ll leave with:
- A repeatable system for sharing responsibilities
- The cards and handouts to use at home
- A shared understanding of the mental load
- A healthier way to talk about chores, planning, and expectations
It’s playful, honest, and surprisingly romantic, because, let’s face it, fireworks fade and true teamwork lasts.
About the Facilitator:
Natasha Uppal is India’s first Matrescence Coach and Founder of Matrescence India. Natasha studies motherhood, mental load, and what actually makes healthy, long-term partnerships work. The playshop is based on Eve Rodsky’s bestselling Fair Play book and method, a globally recognised system used by couples to re-balance household labour and reclaim time, creativity, and sanity.
Natasha’s approach is bold, evidence-informed, and deeply human. She believes navigating the mental load is a journey, not a judgment, and that conversations about shared labour are one of the most important and intimate forms of care. This playshop is a soft launch into that journey, and a powerful experience for couples who believe that romantic partnerships are sustained by more than candlelight dinners and Netflix and Chill. 🙂
