The EyeMyth Goa gathering extends the festival’s mission to explore new forms of storytelling at the intersection of media, technology, and culture, now within an intimate, coastal context. Designed as a focused and reflective residency and symposium, this edition invites practitioners across art, film, sound, research, and creative technology to slow down and go deep through conversations, labs, workshops, and collaborative processes unfolding.
Among the speakers and artists joining us this year are delegates from the UK, India, and beyond:
Hear from Maitreyi Maheshwari (UK), Head of Programme at FACT Liverpool, speaking on Curating Digital Arts; Lisa Brook (UK), Film & Creative Technology Relationship Manager at the British Council, speaking to why technology needs artists; Kate Welham (UK), immersive experiences specialist and founder of The Dome Agency, sharing an immersive obsessive’s guide to the immersive genres; and Simon McCallum (UK), producer and curator at the BFI National Archive, speaking on Inside the British Film Institute’s National Archive.
The experience is complemented by a barbecue by Wineyard, popup by Goa Zine Fest, and a sunset performance at the amphitheatre.
