Join us at the iconic Karmarkar Shilpalay for an in-depth walk through of the sculpture museum through the lenses of an art historian.The Karmarkar museum is a landmark for it houses the works of Late Mr. Nanasaheb Karmarkar in his own bungalow. 

The walk will be conducted by Art historian and Indologist, Mr. Sandeep Dahisarkar, who was awarded the Gulestan Bilimoria Junior Research Fellowship 2017 of the Asiatic Society of Mumbai for the topic 'The Cultural History of the Pathare Kshatriyas in the Bombay Presidency'. His first book 'The Pathare Kshatriyas of Bombay' was the outcome of this fellowship.

End the walk with a farmside feast that plates up the history of the original inhabitants of Mumbai and Alibaug, the Pachkalashi community. The taat includes an array of farm-fresh vegetarian preparations, and coastal delicacies as well.
