Over 30 km from Mussoorie, Dhanaulti is a nondescript hamlet that is a great escape into quietude if you want to embrace village life, apple orchards, and some “me time”. The eco park here makes for a perfect day trip, where you can take a packed lunch for a lovely afternoon picnic in the woods and gaze at the Garhwal Himalayas in the distance. Tiny stalls serving the usual suspects aka Maggie, bun omelet and tea, and some local foods have also mushroomed around it.
