If you need to get a little bit of work done, head to Co-nnect coworking space in the basement of Shangri-la Hotel. The location might scare you, but this is actually one of the better priced spaces in Colombo. If you go for the café area only it will cost you 750 RS, but this can be redeemed against food and drinks. There is also an outside terrace in case you need to stretch your legs for a bit during the working hours.
