Classical Guitar Concert

Guitar Sabha is an assembly of sound, story, and tradition, where the classical guitar becomes a meeting point of cultures across centuries.

This concert travels from the luminous architecture of Bach’s Suite in E major (BWV 1006a) to the passionate colours of Spain in Albéniz’s Sevilla and Asturias, and the iconic tremolo of Tárrega’s Recuerdos de la Alhambra. Rossini’s operatic brilliance shines through Rossiniana, while contemporary works like Benga Beat and Shamal bring modern rhythm and atmosphere to the programme.

Together, these works reveal the versatility of the guitar, exploring traditional themes that expand into new sonic worlds.
