The first place one usually enters Mussoorie from is its mall road which runs through its centre, but you can choose to break away from its clutter and hit the peaceful Camel’s Back road that branches midway from it, for a taste of the Mussoorie of yore. The 3km stretch starts close to the library, and takes you on a lovely deodar-flanked road dotted with old hill homes and an old rock shaped like a camel.
