Alt Wien gives a great look into what the non-pompous Vienna is about. It’s run-down, it’s loud, it’s a mix of a grunge crowd, some hipsters, some elder customers who have been coming weekly for years. As great at 4pm as it is at midnight - have yourself a “Spritzer” or 10 while watching the inimitable crowd, and remember what the 90s felt like.
