We all have a favourite bird by now, I'm sure.

'What does your favourite bird do all day?'

Now that is a tricky one. Field guides seldom address this question. Encyclopaedias do, but leave most of the visuals to our imagination. India has close to 1,300 species of birds, all unique from one another in riveting ways. Bird Business offers a glimpse into the daily lives of birds from the Indian subcontinent through illustrations.

Join author Rohan Chakravarty for the launch of book Bird Business, presented by Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum in collaboration with Juggernaut and Indian Pitta Books!

Rohan Chakravarty is a renowned cartoonist, illustrator and naturalist. His series, ‘Green Humour’, consists of cartoons and comics on wildlife, nature conservation, environmental issues, sustainability, and all things green. Rohan has authored several books, including Green Humour for a Greying Planet, Naturalist Ruddy: Adventurer-Sleuth-Mongoose, and Pugmarks and Carbon Footprints. He has won awards by UNDP, Sanctuary Asia, WWF International, the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Green and Bangalore Literature Festivals for his work.
