“A Return to Roots: Bihar Through My Eyes” is a supper club inspired by my paternal heritage, offering a soulful exploration of Bihari cuisine. This gathering is an homage to the flavors and traditions that shaped my family’s table—where food is a bridge to memory and belonging. Each dish is chosen with intention: chuda matar celebrating winter’s bounty, slow-cooked mutton curry and mustard fish curry capturing the region’s bold spirit, bihari kebab evoking smoky nostalgia, and staples like kadhi badhi and sattu paratha grounding the meal in homey comfort.
Beyond the menu, this evening is a personal invitation to experience Bihar as I have known and loved it. Around the table, guests will share in a feast both familiar and new, discovering the stories, warmth, and generosity of a cuisine too often overlooked—yet radiant with history, character, and grace.
