Join us for an evening of walking and talking about art! Over 2 hours we'll take you on a tour of 3 exciting art spaces in Mumbai, where we chat about the works on view and the artists behind them, inviting you to look closer and discover new artists and art to love!
We'll meet inside the Jehangir Nicholson Art Foundation (JNAF) Gallery (located inside the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sanghrahalaya (CSMVS Museum)) for 'Resonant Histories: India and the Arab World' that showcases cultural and artistic exchanges between the two power centres. We then head out and across to the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Mumbai, for the centeninnal retrospective of the last living Progressive artist: Krishen Khanna. We then walk over to Fulcrum for Vasudha Narayanan's debut solo 'spoiled fruit'* a series of photographic meditations on the body. We've curated an exciting route covering 3 increible shows, so join us! Open to everyone interested in engaging with art, no prior art background required.
*Please note that the show at Fulcrum is an invite-only private exhibition for a discerning audience, above the age of 21 (proof of age is mandatory at the time of entry).
^Entry tickets to the CSMVS and the NGMA will need to be purchased individually, by attendees to access each space.
**Registrations for the event close on Thursday, 27 November at 7 PM.
