When Cinema Meets Climate: ALT EFF 2025 Arrives at SACAC & NDFF Delhi

In a world where climate change is no longer a distant threat but a lived experience, cinema emerges as a voice of conscience, creativity, and change.

ALT EFF 2025 — the Delhi edition of the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival — co-hosted by SACAC and the New Delhi Film Foundation on 6–7 December 2025, brings together the power of global environmental cinema and local creative participation through film screenings, thought-provoking discussions, a wildlife photography exhibition, and student competitions that ignite awareness, reflection, and action.

What to Expect at SACAC Delhi

Over the course of two inspiring days, the SACAC campus will transform into a vibrant space for dialogue, creativity, and collective consciousness.

Film Screenings (12 PM – 5 PM)

A curated selection of films under two themes — Celebrating Life and Dig Deeper — showcasing stories that move hearts and challenge perspectives.

6 December

• School-Level Photography Competition

• Film Screenings

7 December

• University-Level One-Minute Film Competition

• Film Screenings

• Panel Discussion: Breathing the Future — Cities and the Climate Crisis

By integrating youth competitions and creative dialogues, ALT EFF 2025 invites students and audiences not only to watch but also to participate, question, and create. This is where cinema and art meet activism, where imagination becomes a catalyst for environmental consciousness.
