Welcome to Pint of View โ€“ Nagpurโ€™s first-ever community where lectures meet drinks in a relaxed pub-style setting.

About the lecture:

The lecture explores the extraordinary story of how humans emerged from a planet shaped by cosmic collisions, mass extinctions, climatic upheavals, and remarkable evolutionary innovations. Moving from the earliest hominins and the first stone tools to the symbolic and technological revolutions of the Palaeolithic and the transformative shift to agriculture in the Neolithic, this lecture brings together landmark discoveries that have reshaped our understanding of human origins. By weaving together geology, archaeology, genetics, and recent scientific breakthroughs, the talk reveals that the human story is not a simple linear progression but a complex, resilient journey through deep time.
