Al Safa Art & Design Library

Relaxed lounges and co-working desks meet more than 4,000 books, sculptures and photographs in this creatively charged library. The public library was revamped by the Dubai Municipality to take its current form, complete with exhibition halls, film screening rooms, a smaller child-friendly library and a cosy courtyard and café. The contemporary design and streaming sunlight turns traditional pictures of libraries of their head. We’re big fans of the reading area, which is exquisitely designed yet very tranquil.
