“In Vietnamese, the word for missing someone and remembering them is the same: nhớ. Sometimes, when you ask me over the phone, Có nhớ mẹ không? I flinch, thinking you meant, Do you remember me?

“I miss you more than I remember you.”

Dillipoetry invites you to a two-hour-long healing forest walk in Maharashtra Nature Park, Mumbai. The walk will bring into play Ocean Vuong's poetry as prompts and meditative tools to immerse in nature. Ocean, one of the most acclaimed poets of our times is also a bestselling novelist. Their poetry bears witness to the power of language passing through grief, loss, and beauty, in the most naked ways - that only a poem can journey. Ocean's poetry invents... carries a clarity that's dreamlike and piercing.

About the host: Rachit is the founder and curator of Dillipoetry, a literary platform known for its experiential poetry workshops and forest healing walks. He is the creative head at Youth Alliance, where he designs and facilitates transformational journeys of (un) learning, healing, and enquiry in the youth leadership development domain.
