Experience the traditional homemade cuisine of Uttarakhand with a selection of authentic dishes from Garhwal and Kumaon, made using fresh seasonal ingredients and unique mountain produce of this region.
Haridwar's home is the mountain state of Uttarakhand and while the street food of Haridwar may have more of an influence from Uttar Pradesh, many of its residents are Pahadis and the markets are full of amazing produce from the Himalayas. This meal highlights the use of pulses and millets which form the backbone of Uttarakhand's vegetarian cuisine, and uses spices sparingly - overall a very healthy meal!
The meal will be served in three courses on a communal dining table exclusively reserved for just 10 guests.
Experience it in the intimate dining room of Amrit Bhawan, a 1970s art deco bungalow, which has been converted into a plush 8 guest room boutique property - this is another way in which Haridwar's built heritage is being preserved. Mingle with other guests, enjoy some time by the Ganga at their private ghat and take a short property tour.
