What's an Onam Sadhya?
Sadhya is not just about the food but also about community and togetherness. Families and friends come together to prepare and enjoy the meal, reflecting the spirit of unity and prosperity that the festival embodies. Onam Sadhya is a traditional vegetarian feast from Kerala, India, served during the festival of Onam, which celebrates the harvest season and the return of the mythical King Mahabali. The word "Sadhya" means banquet or feast in Malayalam, and this meal is a significant aspect of Onam celebrations.
