ABOUT CYANOTYPE:
Cyanotype photography is a camera-less technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light/ sunlight and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Pallavi is a socially engaged creative practitioner, educator, documentary photographer & filmmaker specialising in community art and theatre initiatives.
Her move to the mountains inspired her to embrace 'slow photography.' She delved into cyanotype, a 19th-century technique producing Prussian blue prints, and rekindled her love for analogue photography.
On days when she is not working she is found hiking or finding new trails and subjects to photograph.
