by
Urbanaut
Savya Rasa recreates traditional South Indian cuisine with modern twists to create the ultimate fine dining experience. The menu is a study in passion and dedication — the team travelled through the major culinary regions in the south to ensure authenticity and cultural relevance. The resulting dishes span the length and breadth of the south that move beyond idli-vada stereotypes to explore regional nuances and palates. This respect for heritage extends to the decor, which is so temple-like and traditional we wouldn’t be surprised if you took your shoes off.

This 80 year old soda joint is unlike any you’ve ever heard of. Centuries ago, the Benne Israeli community made a home out of today’s Pali area in Alibag. It was around then, in 1938 when Daniel Samson Digodkar, one of its members, established what has come to be an iconic spot. Regulars have been coming here for aerated drinks since their childhood, the most loved of which is the ice cream soda. Currently run by Daniel’s son, this special spot has got to be on your list.
